Construction Site

But to build something
You have to destroy it
Tear the familiar down
Demolish it
Choke it out
Vomit

Let the wall cr um bl e
F
A
L
L
Into p i e c e s
Let the window br ea k
S h a t t e r
Into f r a g m e n t s
Let the door open
Slightly
Only to be shutforever

Lingering around
H/e/s/i/t/a/n/t, you wait
For something MORE
Lingering around
Silent, you w/o/n/d/e/r
About something NOT asked for
Hit by a brick
You bleed

christine.. your poems are so colourful. so much... uh... methods of writing.. breaking the words and all that.

what does it signify?

well sara, christine loves colourful stuff=). plus colours spice up the dull background. i lurv playin with poetic experimentation, hence the varying methods of writing. don't wanna be confined to one particular method=P. the breaking of words is one such example: s h a t t e r, the spaces in between is to convey feelings of brokenness and despair. h/e/s/i/t/a/t/e: each slash indicates uncertainty. so the punctuation, gaps, and stuff like that are actualy to send a more powerful message across.
